You have a few options on where you can have your money applied to. You can have 100% go to a charity, split it between yourself and a charity, or keep all of it. You can also sell from different stores that's listed such as eBay,cafepress,amazon and lots more. When people click on your items and purchase items you can earn royalties on those sales. Maybe I'm just an idiot but I didn't have much luck when trying to create a lens. I guess it could have something to do with me being a technotard or maybe it just isn't my cup of tea. Also I guess I'm not really sure what I'd do a lens for. I guess something that I'm pretty familiar with but I'm just not sure if one about a soap would bring in the traffic.
Maybe I'll give it another try. I think the problem could have been the website at the time or maybe the computer I was on. So I just might look into it again. Sadly Amazon is useless for me since they broke up with the state I live in which means they're holding that seventy-seven cents hostage unless I buy something through Amazon.
